Sello: Playing In Traffic
They've vowed to keep on giving, and so they do: These Lonely Boys give a shout-out to all the "Colorado Springs senoritas" and proceed to romance them with the Texican comfort-rock they've built a career on. This acoustic show hits the band's high notes, including the undeniably cuddly "Heaven," but the odd moment betrays their middle-of-the-road musicianship, as on the baggy solo that crowds half of "Oye Mamacita." (But it's hard to quibble with their harmonies on "More Than Love.") Covers "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window" and "Beast of Burden" allow the group to stretch out.
