A singer/rapper out of Spanish Harlem, Lumidee came out of nowhere in 2003 with the absurdly catchy hit single "Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)." Her debut LP includes that jam and several other would-be hits, such as "Go With Me" (which showcases her emcee skills) and the skittering mid-tempo cut "Air to Breathe."
