Acerca de Sugar Blue

One of the foremost harmonica blowers in all of Modern Blues, Sugar Blue is a more than competent vocalist. His fevered phrasing on the harp led him to do sessions with Muddy Waters, Stan Getz, and the Rolling Stones. Blue's fine session work in the 1970s led to his first solo release in 1980. He has since continued to record his own albums, as well as adding harp to recordings by artists Melvin Taylor and Roosevelt Sykes.
